Wow! You actually clicked the little + sign…what happens next is just as much your fault as it is ours now!

We’re not exactly sure when it happened, but sometime after getting married in 2009 we began to notice something about our marriage we didn’t like. It looked a lot like all the others around us.

It wasn’t that the one’s around us were bad, it’s just that they were…well, normal. You know, people who’d been together for a while, starting their family, and doing, “Okay”.

We decided we wanted more than just an “okay” marriage. For us, if status quo meant having an “okay” marriage where the most exciting part was binging a Netflix show after the kids went to bed, then we weren’t ok with just “okay”.

That’s when everything shifted. We sat down and started talking through our dream marriage. Instead of trying to build a marriage that would be able to coast, we wanted a marriage that would thrive, go against the norm, and break the status quo.

If you’re anything like us, you want to have the kind of marriage that is more than just “okay” you want one others look at and wonder, “how are they doing that?”.

The kind of marriage where even though there’s some real battles, you spend more time being FOR one another instead of being against.

Trust us, we get it; marriage isn’t easy. Blending lives, raising kids, dealing with the day to day stuff is hard. You shouldn’t make it even harder by having a less than awesome marriage.

That’s why we launched the Mommy Daddy Time Podcast. We’re helping couples at every stage of marriage build a better marriage, a stronger family, and laugh a lot too.

We’re building a team who want to break the status quo, go against the norm, and do marriage and family differently. Marriage is meant to be more than just “okay”. It’s meant to be AMAZING!
